Games and Learning in Higher Education
MysteryCove
MysteryCove is a narrative-based game for learning English as a second language (levels B1-B2). It was developed by SUPSI as a SVC project.
Villainy Inc.
One of my favorite games - this is for learning math in K-12, developed by the Public Television Mariland within the Cable in the Classroom initiative.

Diffusion of Innovation Game
Not a videogame, this is an interesting set of rules designed for learning the diffusion theory in a different way. It's kind of clumsy, but can be very interesting to try out (I never had a chance to actually use it! LB)

BaFa BaFa
This is a great game when it comes to teach intercultural awareness and communication. The box is not cheap, but the game is very effective and fun, even if it requires some preparation for facilitators.

Voyage Beijing
This flash game is about intercultural communication with China, and it is a sort of virtual trip simulation.

Food Force
Probably the best "serious game" so far, developd by the World Food Program it teaches teenagers (and adults) about how a hunger-relief mission works.
GameMaker
GameMaker is the simples and most effective 2D game development tool I know. It is simple to learn and to use, and it's freeware. (LB)
(added by AR) Games created for managment development. (Many more interesting learning activities on this site!)
