Invitation to the eduhub days — April 2/3 in Murten

We are happy to invite you to the eduhub days 2012, the 4th national meeting of the Swiss eLearning Community of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education in Switzerland.

"Smart Wave — Social Trends in Learning"

During this 2-day event, we are going to meet the "Generation Y": On the first day, students are going to relate from their learning experiences with new media in the Students' Panel "The Smart Learner's Voice". On the second day, the keynotes Gráinne Conole from the University of Leicester UK and Hannes Lubich from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland are going to talk about the Generation Y and their habits with media use. What are the students' new learning habits? What pedagogical and organizational scenarios do exist and how can they be employed to improve modern teaching? How can we integrate Social Media in higher education? These and many more questions will be discussed and reflected on during the eduhub days 2012. We are looking forward to many interesting presentations and discussions! Please submit your proposal for a presentation at the Learning Cafés.

Students are invited to share their ideas, suggestions for improvements and future visions about learning and teaching technology at their universities with us in a Students' Panel.

Organization

Conference fee and meals are offered by SWITCH. Accommodation is not included. For the conference we have allocated 100 single rooms in the accommodation buildings of the Centre Loewenberg for CHF 83.-/night. You can book your room directly with your registration.
