docendo: Authoring and Managing Learning Content

docendo is a new open-source solution for authoring and managing learning content. It has been developed at TU Darmstadt and is now being supported by ETH Zürich and offered as a service to increase reusability of resources.
It's a repository-based web application allowing individuals or working groups to produce web-based content and export it to SCORM content packages.

Version 3.0 introduces new outstanding features like a versioning system, a licensing management based upon Creative Commons and the ability to store editable as well as displayable resources in one "multi-file asset".

The webinar will

• give a brief overview over the project history and cooperation with ETH
• give a demo on some of the main features
• discuss how docendo can fit into the learning landscape at ETH (multiple LMS, external repositories, SWITCHcollection)
