Case studies are complex tasks, and it is in general impossible to automatically evaluate solutions that are given by students. Therefore, teachers have to review all answers individually to give adequate feedback. This is a tedious and time consuming task, especially for large classes. The solution migth be Cogit CaseStudy, which is a web based didactical tool that allows teachers to efficiently manage case study assignments with their students.
The documentation of the tool as well as download and installation instruction can be found on the official project page at Sourceforge: http://cogcasestudy.sourceforge.net/.

With AAI Login |
Use this form, if you and all of your students have a swiss higher education SWICHaai account. |
|
Without AAI Login for non-AAI users |
Use this form, if you do not want to log in using SWITCH aai. This option is less secure. It is often less convenient, because the teacher has to manually create student accounts and send individual login information to students. |
On June 22nd 2009 the hostname of the edulab has been changed to edulab.switch.ch. Previously created case studies can still be accessed by replacing forano.switch.ch by edulab.switch.ch in the URL.
