CCdigitallaw invites you to its 5th webinar, this time on the topic "exception to copyright for educational purposes".
The exception for educational purposes allows teachers and students to freely use copyright protected works as part of a teaching activity. The exception raises many questions, especially related to new technologies used in education. In this context, the main goal of the webinar is to provide participants with the means to understand and identify the scope of this exception in order to be able to benefit from it. However, the webinar will also provide alternative solutions in case the exception for educational purposes is not applicable and will in some way try to de-dramatise copyright issues!
The webinar will be presented by Vincent Salvadé, executive vice president of SUISA and associate professor at University of Neuchâtel.
The webinar will take place on Friday, October 12, 2018, from 11h00 to 12h00 online with SWITCHinteract and will be held in French.
