The interest for e-portfolios has been spreading in Swiss Higher Education Institutions. From experimental and small scale e-portfolio projects, the focus is now on larger institutional and even national deployment. To prepare for the next stage, guidelines to help the different stakeholders involved in the process (decision makers, technical people, teachers and students) have been elaborated within the AAA PLE-UNIGE.9 project. This event will not only be the occasion to present these guidelines, but also to learn more about the SWITCH e-identity project and e-portfolio service. We will also have the great pleasure to receive Dr. Fiona Muir from the School of Medicine, University of Dundee, who will reflect on the stages of the portfolio development form the Medical School and student perspective.
