SIG Digital Collaboration: virtual reality collaboration meeting #2

In this online-activity, we will gain further experience with avatar-based virtual reality collaboration and classroom feeling – where we try out some scenarios for learning with the meeting tool AltspaceVR.

AltspaceVR offers avatar based meetings in virtual reality rooms. In our online activity, we will experience features for collaboration and learning purposes together.

• I will screencast our VR meeting via SWITCHinteract, so MAC users can also watch what happens.
• I will invite you to a VR room, where we try out some scenarios for learning.

AltspaceVR is free of charge and you can participate with any of the following equipmentd: Daydream by Google, Samsung Gear VR, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Android Smartphones and 2D Mode on PC. MAC users can participate in passive mode by watching all avatar activities in the VR room through screencast of the VR meeting via SWITCHinteract.
