National event e-Portfolio 2016

E-portfolios are an amazing tool! They can be used as a learning diary, to reflect on your learning process, and they can at the same time be used as a career tool, to showcase your competences and achievements to a potential employer. E-portfolios can be understood as a "museum", where you curate artifacts, you decide on what to show and what to leave out, and you create a "special exhibition" about your experiences and competences, that you adapt to the audience of your e-portfolio. Potential employers would want to visit a different exhibition as teachers and fellow students do. Thus, you as e-portfolio curator decide what kind of special exhibitions you offer at your "museum". The national event of the SIG e-Portfolio is for all members of Swiss Higher Education Institutions who would like to exchange best practices on e-portfolios as well as collaborate on national e-portfolio projects.
