You are invited to present and discuss your projects, ideas and suggestions around collaboration and networking in e-learning in higher education. Collaboration means dialogue – dialogue between students, teachers, and institutions. Collaboration also means solving problems together, to collaborate on projects. Share with us how you collaborate, the challenges you face and the solutions you have found for your networking.
You have the possibility to present or lead a discussion in one of the two formats:
Describe what kind of problem – or in other words – challenge you are facing at your institution in terms of collaboration and networking. You will lead a discussion during 3 x 25 minutes. Participants will rotate after each round. Please be aware that in each discussion round you should dedicate only 5 to 10 minutes to present your problem to your participants and 15 to 20 minutes to discuss it with them. The focus in this kind of session is laid on discussion, not on presentation.
Describe a project or solution you have developed at your institution with reference to collaboration and networking. You will lead a discussion during 3 x 25 minutes. Participants will rotate after each round. In this session you can dedicate more time to presentation than discussion. You can dedicate 15 to 20 minutes to your presentation and 5 to 10 minutes for discussion and questions from participants.
You can submit your proposal until December 22, 2017. Proposals will be reviewed, selected and assembled by the programme committee. We will notify you about the acceptance of your proposal at the beginning of January 2018.
For both the "I want to discuss a problem" and the "I want to share a solution" sessions you can engage with your audience before the session. To do this, you can provide your material (e.g. video, paper, other material) two to three weeks before the conference, so that in your session participants already know the topic you are going to present, which will allow more in-depth discussions during your session. Send your material directly to email@example.com
NB: Flipping your session is optional. It is absolutely fine if you choose the classic format and present your topic directly at the eduhub days 2018 without any prior preparation by participants of your session.
