The eduhub days 2021 will take place on February 9 and 10, 2021, at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. They are organised as a hybrid event, which means that participation is possible on-site in Lausanne as well as online. However, due to the current situation, the eduhub days 2021 might switch to a complete online setting. The decision, if the eduhub days 2021 will take place in Lausanne or completely online will be taken mid-January 2021.
The eduhub days 2021 are in the sign of shaping the future of teaching and learning in higher education. The current COVID-19 crisis has acted as a huge accelerator for digitalisation in the Swiss academic landscape. With the nationwide lockdown, Swiss Higher Education Institutions had to switch to remote teaching within just a few days, and the challenge to set up quick and stable solutions for this setting was tremendous. So far, so good… But what about teaching and learning in higher education after COVID-19? How will we teach in five years?
Keynotes Gabriele Rizzo from Sapienza University of Rome and Sarah Genner from University of Teacher Education Zurich will share their views on wich digital skills are needed in the digital age as well as provide a lookout into the future.
Proposals can be submitted until December 31, 2020. Participants can either share their experiences and best practices in a BarCamp or parallel session "Challenges and innovation", which will be divided into four tracks: "Hybrid teaching and learning", "e-Colllaboration", "e-Assessment" and "Tools".
There is also a competition: Participants can share their biggest fail in digital teaching during the COVID-19 year and their lessons learned. The winner of the best presented fail will be awarded.
Participation at the eduhub days 2021 is open for members of Swiss Higher Education Institutions.
